THE PURPOSE OF PROPWASH IS:
To provide Current Members, Past Members, and Friends of 400 Sqn, 411 Sqn, and 2 Air Reserve Wing, a way to keep up to date with events concerning our units.
Articles (sometimes called posts or blogs) are displayed on the HOME page with the latest post being shown first.
There are 5 articles shown on the Home page at one time. You view them by simply scrolling down the page. Some longer articles have a "READ MORE" option which you can click on to display the full article. This facilitates readers who have already read the article to more rapidly scroll down the page to the next of the 5 articles being currently displayed.
When you reach the bottom you will have the option to display more Blogs in the order in which they were posted.
To view only those posts relating to a specific subject, click on the desired topic in the 'SUBJECT LIST' located on the right side of each page.

Finally, you can enter a persons name, a persons name, or a subject in the 'SEARCH THIS BLOG' box, again located on the right side of each page. A pop up window will appear at the top of the Page displaying the results of your search. Just click on the link that you desire in this pop up window.
eg. If you entered "Carl", or "Carl Mills", or "Mills", any Blog containing his name will be displayed in the search results pop up window. OR, if you entered "Downsview" any Blog containing "Downsview" in it would appear in the search results pop up window.

Comments are encouraged and welcome. Click on the word "COMMENTS" at the bottom of the Blog. Enter your comment in the box that may be visible below the Blog.

Should you wish to be notified when a new post is made, select the desired method of update (either eMail or Feed Reader) located at the bottom right of the page.

This is where we will let you know of breaking news relating to upcoming events, items of interest, and updates made to our web sites.
Posts relating to upcoming events will be labeled "event".
Posts relating to items of interest will be labeled either "sick bay" (relating to members who are ill), "final flight" (relating to members who have passed), or "general interest".
Posts indicating new information to our website or changes to our blog, will be labeled "update" and one of the following "PropWash"; History Hangar"; "Photos"; "YouTube"
Many members find it easiest to subscribe to updates of new articles (either via email or through our news feed). This will send notices when new articles are published and can be subscribed to, free of charge, by clicking on the appropriate area at the bottom right side of this page.
The History Hangar web site is our home for permanent information relating to a number of subjects about the history of our squadron(s) and has been very well received by those who have taken the time to review it.
You are encouraged to visit and provide any feedback you desire. We encourage you to provide feedback and/or to submit articles and ideas for inclusion on this PERMANENT digital record of our squadron History.
